Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support the pharmacy team in processing and dispensing medications, assisting clinical pharmacists, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requires NC Board of Pharmacy registration and certification (PTCB or ExCPT). 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with possible weekend coverage and shift lengths up to 8.5 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited pharmacy technician-training program.
• Acceptance into pharmacy school.
• High school diploma or equivalent with one year of pharmacy or health care experience.

Responsabilités

• Assist with prescription processing, medication preparation and distribution to patient.
• Restock dispensing cabinets and anesthesia workstations as needed.
• Answer and screen telephone calls and direct to the appropriate personnel.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent + accredited pharmacy technician-training program

Acceptance into pharmacy school

High school diploma or equivalent + 1 year pharmacy/health care experience
