Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Reading Hospital Exeter Pharmacy in Reading, PA. This onsite, full-time role supports a pharmacy open 7 days a week with 8–10 hour shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.

Candidates should have at least two years of pharmacy experience and a PA Pharmacy Technician license or trainee status. PTCB certification is preferred. Spanish language ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of pharmacy experience.
• Pharmacy technician certification preferred (PTCB).
• PA Registered Pharmacy Technician license or Trainee license required.

Responsibilities

• Create patient profiles in the pharmacy information system.
• Communicate with patients, prescribers, and staff to resolve issues.
• Enter prescription plan information for processing and adjudication.
• Enter all new patient prescription information into the system.
• Assist with insurance, reimbursement, and payment issues.
• Provide information for therapeutic consults with patients.
• Deliver medications and pharmaceutical supplies as needed.
