Job summary

Johns Hopkins Care at Home in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management under supervision of pharmacists.

The role requires a High School Diploma, Maryland Pharmacy Board registration upon hire, and certification within 2 years (PTCB or NHA); six months experience is preferred. Rotating shifts and weekends, full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is required upon hire.
• Must become certified through and approved certification board (PTCB or NHA) within 2 years of hire.
• 6 months experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management.
• Work under direct supervision of pharmacists and fellow technicians.
• Assist with inventory management and supply replenishment.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Working under the direct supervision of pharmacists and alongside other skilled technicians, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at supporting medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management.

Minimum Qualifications

Shift And Schedule

Rotating 8-hour shifts between 7:30am-8pm

Rotating Weekends

Salary Range:

Minimum 19.25/hour - Maximum 31.80/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
