Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health System is hiring an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to assist in medication preparation, packaging, distribution and inventory management under the direct supervision of pharmacists. Shifts are rotating 8-hour blocks between 7:30am and 8pm, with rotating weekends; Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration is required on hire and certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency is required.
• Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is required upon hire.
• Must become certified through and approved certification board (PTCB or NHA) within 2 years of hire.
• 6 months experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in medication preparation, packaging and distribution under supervision.
• Support inventory management and stock control in the outpatient pharmacy.

Minimum Qualifications

Shift and Schedule

Salary Range

Minimum $18.09/hour - Maximum $29.87/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
