Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, packaging, distribution and inventory under pharmacist supervision.
This role involves coordinating pharmacy tasks by phone, processing prescriptions and updating patient insurance and demographics while delivering quality customer service on every call. Requires Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration and CPhT, plus 2 years retail/inpatient experience.

Working under the direct supervision of pharmacists and alongside other skilled technicians, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at supporting medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management.
Responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at supporting medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management. Under the direct supervision of the Patient Access Supervisor, technicians also coordinate over the phone pharmacy tasks ranging from processing a prescription medication to updating patients' insurance and demographics, while maintaining high level customer service on every call.
Casual/On Call
Minimum $20.53/hour - Maximum $33.90/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
