Ascension Pharmacy Services is seeking a remote Pharmacy Technician to support patient assistance programs, PAP eligibility, and foundation funding. You will communicate with patients and pharmacy partners to resolve access barriers while maintaining compliant, accurate patient records.

This full-time, day-shift role emphasizes independent coordination of PA, PBM, and PA processes in a remote setting, with state licensure requirements and a focus on privacy and regulatory compliance.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Experience supporting Patient Assistance Programs (PAP), medication access, benefit investigations, and specialty prior authorizations.
• Knowledge of patient assistance resources, eligibility requirements, application processing, and foundation funding.
• Communicates with patients, pharmacists, prescribers, specialty pharmacies, and external assistance organizations to resolve medication access barriers.
• Maintains accurate patient records, verifies supporting documentation, and follows applicable privacy, regulatory, and program requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills to manage assistance applications, track approvals, and coordinate patient cases independently in a remote environment.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • One or more of the following:
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• 1+ year experience of high-level of PAP, Grant and Foundation experience required.
• 1+ year experience of high-level PA, PBM, FA, 340B experience required.
• State Licensure in the Supported State.
