Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a remote-feel, on-site role with potential hybrid/remote after probation. You will perform medication history, procurement, and inventory management while supporting nuclear pharmacy services and Patient Assistance Programs (PAP).

You will coordinate with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams, navigate multiple online platforms, and assist with grant and foundation tasks.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician credentials and state licensure as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to use multiple online pharmacy systems.

Salary: $21.63 - $30.15 (per hour)

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Perform medication history, procurement, and inventory management; support nuclear pharmacy services and Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) as a pharmacy technician.
• Manage specialty medications via prior authorizations and financial assistance coordination (PAPs, copay cards, and grants).
• Coordinate effectively with patients, health-care providers, and internal teams.
• Navigate multiple virtual platforms and on-line systems.
• Manage grant and foundation-related tasks.

On-site role with the possibility of a hybrid / remote position.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

One or more of the following required:

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed. Must possess all state and local qualifications.
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must possess all state and local qualifications. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 1+ year experience of high-level of PAP, Grant and Foundation experience required.
• 1+ year experience of high-level PA experience required.
• Partially remote opportunity after 3-months.
