Freeman Health System in Bentonville, AR, seeks a Pharmacy Technician for a PRN position in the hospital pharmacy. Under pharmacist supervision, you will support medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management, ensuring accurate drug records for patient therapy.

The role requires completion of a certified pharmacy tech program and a National Technician Certification, with prior hospital experience preferred.

Formación

• National Technician Certification is required.
• High School diploma or GED is preferred.

What You'll Do

Working under the direct supervision of the pharmacist, the pharmacy tech assists in all pharmacy operation functions related to: preparation & distribution of all doses of medication; maintenance of drug inventories ( stocking auto dispensing cabinets in the facility, drug packaging, extemporaneous compounding, code cart re-stock); and completions of patients records pertaining to drug therapy (aminoglycoside protocol orders, drug charges & credits.

Requirements

• Completion of certified pharmacy tech program
• National Technician Certification required.

Pharmacy Preferred Experience

• High School diploma or GED
• 3 years hospital pharmacy technician experience
