Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to plan, direct, and supervise the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. The role focuses on staffing, performance reviews, compliance, and patient safety while ensuring financial and clinical program success.

The position requires a Doctorate or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, active state licensure, CPR, and Immunization certification, with at least 3 years in retail and 1 year in a leadership role. Michigan-based role with Meijer’s inclusive team culture.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• CPR Certification.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• One year of management experience preferred.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).

Aufgaben

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Conduction of performance reviews for pharmacists and technicians.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions.
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implement and execute pharmacy programs, covering financials, clinical services, labor, inventory, and profitability.
• Educate and mentor pharmacists and technicians.
• Motivate team to perform at highest level.
• Hold team accountable and grow the pharmacy business.
• Leadership and development of staff.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Perform clinical services, including immunizations where allowed.
• Communicate effectively to prioritize workload.
