Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to plan, direct, and oversee day-to-day operations in our in-store pharmacy. You will hire staff, manage prescriptions, train team members, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

The role emphasizes leadership, clinical services, immunizations where permitted, and profitability through efficient labor and inventory management. A Doctor of Pharmacy degree, state licensure, CPR, and retail experience are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy is required.
• Registered Pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR Certification.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• One year management experience (preferred).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies/procedures; understanding of regulatory in the state the unit operates in.

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in the day to day operations of the Pharmacy.
• Fills prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implements and executes pharmacy programs, including financial results, clinical services, labor, inventory, stock loss, security, patient services, and profitability of the pharmacy.
• Educates and mentors pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivates team members to perform to their highest level.
• Holds team members accountable for results and contributes to expanding and growing the pharmacy business.
