Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead day-to-day operations, staffing, and performance in a retail setting. You will supervise pharmacists and technicians, ensure accurate dispensing, and drive clinical services aligned with corporate goals.

You will implement pharmacy programs, manage budgets and inventory, and mentor staff to achieve high patient-safety standards. Compliance with state/federal laws and Meijer policies is essential, including immunization services where allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered Pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR Certification.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• One year management experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Conduct performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions.
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implement and execute pharmacy programs for clinical services and profitability.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy staff to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to high performance.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Perform clinical services such as immunizations where allowed.
