Job summary

ShopRite of Pennington seeks a Pharmacy Clerk to support the pharmacy team with cashiering, customer service, stocking, and cleaning to ensure efficient operation. The role requires being 18+, maintaining state licensing, English fluency, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Training and benefits are provided. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing prescriptions, handling payments, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and maintaining a clean, organized Pharmacy area.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust/chemicals.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly way.
• Proficient with required computer hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Accurately ring prescriptions and collect payment.
• Maintain security of the Pharmacy Department and HIPAA compliance.
• Handle patient information with confidentiality.
• Assist customers with OTC products and stock organization.
• Perform duties in accordance with ShopRite policies and safety standards.
