Job summary

ShopRite - Pharmacy Clerk position in South Brunswick, NJ, supports pharmacy operations, cash register use, and customer service. You will stock, ring prescriptions, and ensure clean, compliant service within the Pharmacy Department.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak English and understand details.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Able to stand/walk for long shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Able to use computer hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Ring prescriptions and handle payments accurately.
• Assist in Pharmacy with stocking and cleanup to keep department efficient.
• Adhere to HIPAA, pharmacy laws, and safety standards.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of patient information.
• Assist customers in locating items and answering questions.
• Complete required training and keep a clean work environment.
• Work overtime as needed and cooperate with team.
