Job summary

ShopRite of Brodheadsville is seeking a Pharmacy Associate to deliver excellent customer service while supporting the pharmacy with cash operations, stocking, and cleaning to ensure efficient department operations.

Qualifications include being 18+, appropriate licensing, English proficiency, basic math, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role requires teamwork, adherence to policies, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Proficient with computer hardware and software.
• Overtime as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Accurately ring prescriptions and collect payment with proper change.
• Maintain security of Pharmacy Department and patient confidentiality.
• Take prescriptions and verify patient information.
• Organize and stock pharmaceuticals as directed by Pharmacist.
• Assist Customers in locating over-the-counter stock.
• Complete HIPAA training modules.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
