Job summary

ShopRite in Jackson, NJ is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to support the Pharmacy Department with cash register operations, customer service, stocking, and cleaning to ensure efficient department operation. The role requires 18+ years, the ability to read/write English, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

It emphasizes compliance with drug laws, HIPAA, and safety standards. This position offers benefits under the CBA and opportunities to learn merchandising and patient care within a team

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak English and perform basic math.
• Able to lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Able to work overtime and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Ring prescriptions accurately.
• Collect payment and provide correct change.
