Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Plans staffing requirements and schedules to ensure efficient management of pharmacy resources and workflow
• Cooperates with peers in scheduling and sharing personnel resources
• Mentors and develops staff through assessments, development plans, and succession planning
• Coaches staff to ensure compliance with standards and performance improvement
• Implements department, hospital, and health system policies and procedures
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Manages department goals aligned with hospital and division mission
• Oversees quality of patient care and total department function
• Monitors and maintains key performance indicators and operational metrics
