• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy
• Licensure: Active Clinical Pharmacist license in Illinois (IDFPR)
• Preferred: Residency or hospital pharmacy experience; specialty training (neonatology, critical care, oncology)

Responsibilities

• Interprets medication orders to ensure safety and proper use, coordinating with pharmacy, nursing and prescribers.
• Monitors drug interactions and intervenes when necessary to prevent adverse events.
• Compounds and dispenses pharmaceuticals including sterile products.
• Maintains comprehensive patient pharmacotherapy records and contributes to education programs.
