Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred if available.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision, review patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance.
• Recommend items for sale and assist with inventory management.
• Process prescriptions, verify medicine, and ensure correct dispensing.
• Handle calls and clerical tasks, including third party claims and refunds.
