Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at the checkout and assists customers with products and services.
• Assists pharmacists by entering patient and drug information and processing prescriptions under direct supervision.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; handles inventory and pricing as directed.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist and adheres to policies and the Quality Improvement Program.
• Assists with pharmacy workflow and applies store policies in dispensing activities.
• Provides customer service in other areas (e.g., photo area, web order pickup) and supports daily store operations.
