Job summary

Avera McKennan is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support generalized buying and purchasing functions within a multidisciplinary team. The role involves vendor outreach, data analysis, and reporting to Pharmacy Leadership to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.

The position requires CPhT credentials, active state registration, and several years of healthcare/pharmacy supply chain experience, with a shift pattern including day/evening/weekend/holiday hours across the United States.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician – active in state of practice within 30 days.
• Three to five years of experience in healthcare/pharmacy supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Contact vendors to obtain pricing, quantities, and delivery times for goods and services.
• Prepare departmental reports and analyze goods and services required by the hospital.
• Manipulate and analyze data in a digital format; create and disseminate reports to pharmacy staff.
• Maintain pharmacy databases related to inventory and costs of pharmaceuticals.
• Coordinate inventory control activities and support daily delivery of inventory products.
