PHARMACY/PHARMACIST LEADER (HR) (Finance)

Accountable for all aspects of pharmacy practice within the limits of state and federal laws and corporate policies. Responsible for managing and maximizing the financial performance of the pharmacy department by monitoring the budget, minimizing unauthorized overtime, staff training and development, customer service excellence, prescription pricing, generic utilization, inventory control, and participating in clinical services. Demonstrates company core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy.
  • At least 2 years of related retail pharmacy experience or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Valid pharmacy license in good standing.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Ability to interpret prescriptions and documents.
  • Excellent communication skills for reports and correspondence.
  • Commitment to customer service and confidentiality.
  • Willingness to pursue ongoing education and participate in clinical programs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Relevant Pharmacy Board Certifications.
  • Experience in pharmacy business management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and company policies.
  • Managing inventory, reducing overstock, and ensuring proper record-keeping.
  • Monitoring third-party profitability and handling related issues.
  • Scheduling staff to optimize labor costs.
  • Maintaining pharmacy records in accordance with laws and policies.
  • Achieving budgeted goals and promoting community health initiatives.
  • Travel as needed to support business needs.
  • Supervising and coaching staff, conducting performance reviews.
  • Handling customer and conflict issues professionally.
  • Supporting interactions with vulnerable populations.

Salary Range: $73,500 - $87,000.
