Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Outreach Coordinator to grow the specialty pharmacy patient population through outbound calls to eligible patients and enrolling them in the Shields Partner Pharmacy. You’ll educate patients on the program and protect patient information.

Key responsibilities include reviewing EMR before calls, identifying medication handling needs, and coordinating supplies. The role emphasizes empathy, strong communication and independent work style.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician or related role.
• Strong communication, organization and tech skills.
• Empathy, integrity and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to eligible patients to enroll them with Shields Partner Pharmacy.
• Educate patients on the Shields Specialty Pharmacy Program.
• Access EMR and review notes prior to calls to understand patient needs.
• Identify storage requirements for medications and necessary supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
