Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Outreach Coordinator (Pharmacy Technician) to proactively grow the specialty pharmacy patient population by outbound calling and enrolling eligible patients in the Shields Partner Pharmacy program.

The role requires a Louisiana Pharmacy Technician license, 2+ years of experience, and strong communication skills. The position offers a competitive hourly rate with quarterly bonus potential and benefits starting day one.

Competenze

• State-registered Louisiana Pharmacy Technician license required.
• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role.
• Strong communication, organization, and tech skills.
• Empathy, integrity, and a team-first mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Mansioni

• Speak with patients by phone to explain Shields Partner Pharmacy program benefits.
• Review EMR/chart notes prior to outbound calls to tailor conversations.
• Identify medications requiring special handling or storage.
• Identify supplies needed for medications and maintain safety considerations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
