Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or business preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Meet Pharmacy Technician licensure and certification requirements by start date.
• 3–5 years’ experience within healthcare provider, PBM, Specialty Pharmacy or Retail/Mail Order Pharmacy setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA, Fraud, Waste and Abuse and Pharmacy Law affecting Pharmaceutical Products (e.g. CFR 210/211, cGMP).
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Written and oral communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Pharmacy Technician and Fulfillment teams; adjust workload and staffing as needed.
• Coach staff on monitored calls and cases; provide feedback and training; conduct performance reviews.
• Perform scheduling, attendance monitoring and counseling; manage documentation.
• Collaborate with internal areas to resolve operational issues and maintain high patient service levels.
• Identify training needs and provide continuing education to ensure performance at the highest level.
