AbbVie in North Chicago, IL seeks a Supervisor to lead the Pharmacy Technician and Fulfillment teams, ensuring day‑to‑day operations run smoothly, meet performance metrics, and deliver a high-touch patient experience for both patients and physicians.

You will coach staff on calls and cases, manage scheduling and attendance, ensure HIPAA and pharmacy‑law compliance, and collaborate with other functions to resolve operational issues and sustain service excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences or business preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Pharmacy Technician licensure and certification by start date per Illinois Act.
• 3-5 years experience in healthcare provider, PBM, Specialty Pharmacy or Retail/Mail Order Pharmacy setting; knowledge of medical records & insurance.
• 1-2 years supervisor experience desired.
• Knowledgeable of HIPAA, Fraud, Waste and Abuse, and Pharmacy Law affecting pharmaceutical products.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet timelines.
• Effective written and oral communication; ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
• Ability to work hours required to meet business needs.

• Provide leadership and supervision to Pharmacy Technician and Fulfillment teams.
• Manage workflow, staffing, and performance metrics to ensure timely delivery.
• Coach staff on calls and cases; provide training and feedback.
• Handle scheduling, attendance, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with internal areas to resolve operational issues for patient service.
• Identify and address training needs; provide ongoing education.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy laws; monitor regulatory adherence.
• Oversee referrals processing and customer service excellence.
• Complete role-based training and certifications during onboarding.
