Job summary

AbbVie in Chicago seeks a Pharmacy Supervisor to lead the Pharmacy Technician and Fulfillment teams, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and with a high-touch customer service model. You will coach staff, manage scheduling and reviews, ensure HIPAA and regulatory compliance, and collaborate across departments to support patients and physicians.

This role requires 3–5 years of healthcare experience and 1–2 years of supervisory experience, with strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or business preferred.
3–5 years experience in healthcare or pharmacy settings.
1–2 years supervisor experience desired.
Knowledge of HIPAA, fraud, waste and abuse and pharmacy law.

Responsibilities

Oversee Pharmacy Technician and Fulfillment teams and staffing.
Coach staff on calls and cases, provide feedback and training.
Manage scheduling, attendance, and performance reviews.
Coordinate with internal areas to resolve operational issues and ensure customer service.
Identify training needs and ensure continuing education.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
Report key performance metrics to management.
