Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Pharmacy Leadership professional to coordinate daily activities of pharmacists, technicians and clerks, ensuring efficient pharmacy services and quality standards within the central pharmacy.

The role includes guiding staff, overseeing training, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements while collaborating with clinicians to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• 4+ years of pharmacist experience (or 3+ years with a residency).
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy.
• Experience understanding operations outside pharmacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of pharmacists, technicians, and clerks to deliver efficient pharmacy services.
• Lead ongoing staff projects to improve department performance and quality measures.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations in medication handling.
