Penn Medicine’s Pharmacy Department seeks a Senior Operations Administrator to lead operations across assigned health system pharmacy locations and partner with clinical staff to deliver best‑in‑class patient care.

Responsibilities include coordinating day‑to‑day operations, staff coverage, data reporting, SOP development, and regulatory compliance with agencies such as Joint Commission and FDA. Ten or more years in pharmacy and a PA technician license are required.

Qualifications

• CPhT – Certified Pharmacy Technician (Required)
• Registered Technician (PA State Board of Pharmacy) (Required)
• ASHP Certificate (Required)
• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• 10+ years of relevant pharmacy experience (Required)
• Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred

Responsabilités

• Optimize and maintain operations across pharmacy areas to achieve best‑in‑class pharmacy metrics
• Maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, clinical pharmacists, and other key stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Coordinate day‑to‑day operations and staffing cross coverage
• Coordinate data reporting to Pharmacy Managers across key metrics
• Communicate and coordinate the completion of daily activities to achieve daily operational objectives
• Develop, support, and adhere to SOPs while striving for process improvement
• Reconcile completed and pending work in order to escalate situations as they occur

Formation

H.S. Diploma/GED

10+ years of relevant pharmacy experience

Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
