Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure a positive patient experience.

The role reports to the pharmacist and may involve supervising technicians and cashiers, training, and performance management. Responsibilities include patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, and participation in vaccine administration and health screenings where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations, including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications for patients and assist with counting and verification under pharmacist supervision.
• Support vaccine administration, health screenings, and other services allowed by law.
• Delegate non-clinical tasks within company policies and ensure on-time completion.
