Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital settings.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification where allowed by law.
• Under pharmacist supervision, conduct patient and physician calls and assist with healthcare services including vaccinations and health screenings.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of technicians; manage scheduling and staffing.
• Ensure compliant pharmacy operations, inventory management, and secure recordkeeping.
