Job summary

Walgreens in Randallstown, MD is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

You will assist with patient registration, data entry, medication preparation, and non-clinical calls; participate in immunizations and health services where allowed; supervise technicians and manage training, performance, and schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations)

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and admin tasks.
• Assist pharmacist with patient care including registration and data entry.
• Participate in immunizations and health services as allowed by law.
• Lead training and performance management of technicians.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
