Walgreens in Prince Frederick, MD is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under a pharmacist's supervision. The role also involves training and performance management of technicians, improving customer experience, handling inventory, scheduling, and reporting.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (where applicable).

Responsabilidades

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification (where allowed by law).
• Manage non-clinical administrative tasks and ensure compliance with company policies and laws.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians, including discipline when needed.
• Support inventory management, scheduling, reporting, and recordkeeping.
