Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and deliver a positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with prescription processing, data entry, and inventory management, while leading training and performance of technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification.
• One year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification where allowed by law.
• Under pharmacist supervision, support healthcare service offerings including vaccines and health screenings.
• Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work in the pharmacy while ensuring compliance with policies and law.
