Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support daily non-clinical and clinical-pharmacy operations in a fast-paced retail environment. Under a pharmacist’s supervision, you will assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, dispensing support, and documenting health services within policy and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care, including registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Count and verify medications under pharmacist supervision and support vaccine and health service offerings where permitted by law.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians and maintain adherence to company policies.
