Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations, ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with prescription processing, patient registration, data entry and vaccine-related services where allowed by law.

You will lead technician training, scheduling, and performance management, while ensuring compliance with policies, laws and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Support non-clinical pharmacy operations and inventory management under supervision.
• Lead training and performance management of technicians and coordinate scheduling.
