Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and provide excellent patient experiences. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with prescription processing, patient registration, and daily pharmacy workflows, while driving accuracy and patient satisfaction.

You will lead training and supervise pharmacy technicians, participate in inventory management, and support health service offerings where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in daily operations including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications, counting and verifying under pharmacist supervision.
• Support health services such as vaccines and health screenings where allowed.
• Manage inventory and pharmacy workflow to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
