Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations under the supervision of a pharmacist. The role includes patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, and participating in vaccination and health-service offerings as allowed by law.

You will lead scheduling, training, and performance for pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with policy, and maintaining efficient workflow and accurate records.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital settings.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including prescription data entry and preparation of medications.
• Handle non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
• Manage inventory, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Coordinate with store team to maintain efficient pharmacy workflow and customer service.
