Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and help deliver a positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with prescription processing, patient data entry, and routine administrative duties.

You will lead training, scheduling, and performance management for technicians while ensuring compliance with policies, laws, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting is preferred.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assist pharmacist with patient data entry, prescription processing, and customer interactions.
• Lead and train pharmacy technicians; manage scheduling and performance within policy and law.
• Deliver high-quality customer experiences and resolve non-clinical issues to support patient care.
