Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a pharmacist to lead and support a busy retail pharmacy team. You will ensure excellent customer service, manage prescriptions, and align with corporate policies and budgets.

The role requires a Pharm.D. or B.Pharm with retail experience, a strong emphasis on confidentiality, teamwork, and ongoing professional development. Travel may be required to support store networks.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or PharmD from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy.
• 2+ years related retail experience.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Participation in company-sponsored clinical programs.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.
• License must be in good standing.
• Willingness to continue education as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and model the pharmacy team.
• Develop, implement and promote the sales plan as per division pharmacy.
• Direct the pharmacy team to achieve utilization goals and control labor costs.
• Monitor third-party profitability; handle rejections and audits promptly.
• Schedule staff to manage labor costs.
• Maintain all required pharmacy records per state and federal laws.
• Direct pharmacy to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals.
• Promote and participate in public health initiatives and disease state management.
• Travel as needed to support business needs.
• Coach direct reports and give performance feedback.
• Ensure ability to perform essential job functions with/without reasonable accommodation.
