Walgreens Co. seeks a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical operations and maintain a positive patient experience. You will work under a pharmacist to process prescriptions, manage data entry, and support pharmacy workflow.

You will assist with patient registration, vaccine administration where allowed, and training of technicians while ensuring compliance with company policies and laws. A flexible schedule is required.

Competenze

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days.

Mansioni

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
• Complete patient and physician calls under the supervision of a pharmacist; assist with health services where allowed.
• Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work within company policies and laws to ensure workflow.
• Prepare and file reports and records required by the company and agencies.
• Manage pharmacy workflow, schedules, inventory, and security safeguards.
• Ensure adherence to Good Faith Dispensing policies and address prescription errors with the pharmacist.
