Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will perform patient data entry, prescription processing, and non-clinical tasks to keep the pharmacy running smoothly.

You will also engage customers, resolve questions, and assist with health services such as vaccines and screenings as permitted by law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in daily non-clinical pharmacy operations.
• Register patients and enter prescription data.
• Prepare medications and verify accuracy.
• Support vaccine administration and health screenings where allowed.
