Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient services. Under pharmacist supervision, you will process prescriptions, register patients, and assist with vaccine services and health screenings where allowed by law.

You will lead technician scheduling, training, and performance management, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate records, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent English in reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacist in patient care tasks and prescription processing.
• Register patients, enter prescription data, prepare medications, and verify orders where allowed by law.
• Manage non-clinical workflow, delegate tasks, and ensure on-time completion.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Assist with inventory, records, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee safety, asset protection, and incident reporting in the pharmacy.
