Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities under pharmacist supervision.

You will help manage patient data, prescriptions, and the overall workflow while upholding company policies and regulatory standards. The role includes patient registration, data entry, vaccine administration support, and ongoing training of technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient data entry.
• Support vaccination administration, health screenings, and other services as allowed by law.
• Manage pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and inventory under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Handle insurance claims processing and communications with providers and insurers.
• Participate in community outreach and off-site immunization clinics as assigned.
