Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to perform day-to-day non-clinical operations under pharmacist supervision, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

The role includes patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, counting, verification where allowed by law, and participation in training and performance management of technicians.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations)

Responsabilidades

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, counting, and verification where allowed by law.
• Handle insurance claims processing and follow up with providers as needed.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain inventory and support recordkeeping and security safeguards in the pharmacy.
