Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time, non-clinical pharmacy technician to support day-to-day operations and ensure a smooth pharmacy workflow. Under pharmacist supervision, you will handle prescription data entry, patient interactions, and non-clinical tasks while supporting vaccine administration and health services where permitted by law.

You will help train and manage pharmacy technicians, participate in performance reviews, and contribute to a positive patient experience by resolving inquiries

Qualifications

• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including prescription data entry and preparation of medications.
• Handle patient registration and prescription data entry under pharmacist supervision.
• Support healthcare service offerings such as vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in daily tasks.
• Lead training and manage performance of pharmacy technicians as directed by the Pharmacy Manager.
