Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day non-clinical operations and patient experience in a Walgreens pharmacy. You will assist with prescription data entry, medication preparation, and patient registration under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities include training and performance management of technicians, coordinating pharmacy workflow, and participation in health service offerings where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid PTCB certification.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients, assists with products and services.
• Resolves complaints and responds to non-clinical questions.
• Performs prescription data entry and medication preparation under supervision.
• Supports vaccine administration and health screenings where allowed.
• Manages inventory and records in compliance with policies.
