Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time, non-clinical pharmacy technician to support day-to-day operations and ensure efficient workflow with a focus on a positive patient experience.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will perform registration, data entry, medication preparation, and assist with vaccines and health services where allowed by law. You will also lead training and performance management of technicians and help manage schedules and inventory.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations)

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation and verification of medications.
• Delegate non-clinical work to pharmacy technicians while ensuring tasks are completed on time.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper recordkeeping and adherence to Good Faith Dispensing policies.
