Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Warehouse Lead in North Chicago, IL. You will direct a shift of warehouse operators, manage schedules, and uphold safety, quality, and regulatory standards in a pharma environment.

You will analyze equipment performance, drive improvements in processes, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure efficient production and accurate data tracking using SAP/WMS. Strong supervisory background is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 5 years in pharmaceutical operations or similar, with 2+ years as a Warehouse Lead.
• Strong knowledge of compliance regs (DEA, TSA, FAA, IATA DOT, IMDG, FTZ).
• Proficient in warehouse management systems to track data (e.g., SAP).
• Forklift experience required; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 13 Warehouse Associates.
• Direct operational activities and manpower schedules.
• Analyze equipment performance and troubleshoot alarms/failures.
• Enforce safety, quality, environmental, and operational policies.
• Lead improvements in manufacturing and dept processes.
• Present performance feedback in annual evaluations.
• Participate in meetings and communicate operational events.
