Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies seeks a licensed pharmacist to lead the pharmacy team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will manage daily operations, ensure legal compliance, and deliver excellent customer service while driving profitability and inventory optimization.

The role requires Pharm.D. or equivalent, 2+ years retail experience, and strong leadership. You will participate in clinical programs, supervise staff, and align workflows with company policies and budget goals.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or Pharm.D./BS from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy.
• 2+ years related retail experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Participation in clinical programs following company training.
• Commitment to continuous education and confidentiality.
• Excellent customer service and ability to write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and model pharmacy team behavior.
• Develop, implement, supervise, and promote the sales plan and other initiatives.
• Direct the pharmacy team to meet budgeted labor, volume, and inventory goals.
• Monitor third party profitability, handle rejections and audits promptly.
• Schedule staff to optimize labor costs and customer service.
• Maintain all required pharmacy records per laws and policies.
• Provide public health initiatives and disease state management services.
• Travel as needed to support business needs.
• Coach and review staff performance and provide feedback.
