Job summary

The Cigna Group’s Evernorth Health Services seeks a Pharmacist Manager to lead a team of pharmacists and technicians in Salt Lake City, overseeing dispensing, workflow, and performance. You will ensure compliance with federal and state laws and mentor staff toward ongoing professional development.

This full-time, Monday–Friday role runs 8am–5pm with on-call responsibilities, cross-functional project participation, and a focus on cost monitoring and service standards to meet client guarantees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Active Pharmacist license in Utah.
• Prior pharmacy management experience preferred.
• Experience with home infusion/specialty pharmacy preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day prescription dispensing in the fulfillment center.
• Verify prescription information entered in the system.
• As Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensure compliance with laws and supervise all pharmacy personnel.
• Schedule and monitor staff and day-to-day workflow.
• Develop staff skills, evaluate performance and provide feedback.
• Address staff concerns and operational issues.
• Lead staffing, training and evaluations for quality and production standards.
• Monitor prescription turnaround times to meet standards.
• Assist in cost control and project-related tasks.
